It is all original except someone started to put some shielding paint in the cavity. The previous owner told me that he changed his mind before he got to far with putting it in the cavity. It has come to my attention that there may have been a route in the pickup cavity at one time. If so, it was professionally repaired, because it is impossible to tell by looking at it. The paint in the cavity does not black light the same as the rest of the guitar. The paint on the rest of the guitar including the electronics cavity, neck pocket and external is the original Lake Placid Blue from the factory when built in 1966 at the Fender factory. All pots date 1966, all solder joints look un-touched, but may also be professionally re-soldered when the cavity was repaired. All pickups and pots date 1966. Tuning keys were changed at one time, but now back to stock, except the 2 end tuners are actually middle tuners. Neck pocket looks great. Frets are in very good shape with lots of life left. Neck is straight and action is super low, this guitar sings, killer tone! Case looks to be original. update: I went ahead and removed the shielding paint. I have added a new photo.
