This brand and model number seems to not only blend well, but also holds up over time. The price is also a great bargain when looking at quality wooden piccolo's. There seems to be the very low end, plastic or silver plated piccolo's, and the higher grade ($4000) orchestral piccolo's, and not much in between. You may buy this piccolo today, at the price listed, and most likely use it for as long as you wish, take good care of it, and then resell for about the same price, perhaps even more than what you pay now.  The price keeps going up, as players really appreciate the value for the buck.   Technical Specifications Grenadilla Wooden Head joint and Body Silver plated keys and mechanisms closed hole   French case   Appropriate For This is simply a fantastic piccolo that has wide appeal.  It is suitable for a beginner that wants to learn piccolo and play in symphonic band  (more mature and willing to take care of the instrument).  It is suitable for an intermediate player, adult amature, professional orchestral player, and jazz player.   Condition  This piccolo has a lovely full tone from low to high. It is in lovely pre owned condition, and looks and plays beautifully.   The head joint / body and foot joint are in excellent condition, without cracks.  This piccolo is very clean as you can see from the pictures.  The pads and corks are clean, but do show very light wear, as this piccolo has been played.  This flute obviously was not played by a smoker or around smoke (smoke creates "tar" on the flute"). There is lots of life left in the pads, as good pads such as these last a very long time.  The new owner should need only a clean oil and adjust 12 months or so from the date of receipt (depending on usage).   Shipping We are a global company and ship worldwide.
