(YOU WILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS DUE TO POST OFFICE CLAIM DAMAGE OR LOST SHIPMENT IF NOT INSURED, I WILL SEND YOU THE SHIPMENT PAPERWORK AND ITS IN YOUR HANDS). I SUGGEST INSURANCE AS I WILL DO ALL THE PAPERWORK ON MY END AND REFUND YOUR MONIES IN THE MEANTIME & AWAIT THE CLAIM ON MY END. My books are shipped with a layer of plastic and then wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap , then packed double in a padded envelope. If the book is heavy I will put it in a box packed described above to prevent damage. (Priority Mail is used for books over $100.00). This is the best way to go! I will try to fit it in a flat rate box). Most of these packing material costs are not passed on to the customer. I do add a 1.50 S&h Charge to my listings which covers some of the costs. People who buy books do like them to arrive in the described condition. Packed to withstand the media mail travel time and its journey thru the Post Office system. I have sold many books online and have had almost no complaints about my packing abilities, matter of fact I over pack. I always think of the old TV commercial ad from the 1970s about the airline industry and the luggage they handled with the monkeys jumping and throwing the luggage in the backroom, When I pack up your shipment. I want my customers to receive their items as described and in the shape they bought them in in my listing. Please allow me to charge a minimal amount to cover your shipment and its safe arrival.
