Played it until now. Please read on to learn about every part of this Strat. Any changes from the original are noted. Neck: Old tuners were replaced with Schaler-type tuners, small--like on Les Paul's. New holes had to be drilled in the back of the neck and peg tree holes had to be relieved. The guitar now has vintage style Kluson tuners installed. No holes are visible with original type tuners. The nut was replaced with a brass nut so it is not original. The frets, I think, have been replaced. I believe they are more of a jumbo fret now. The neck is wonderful, straight and true. This is the famous C-neck dated 10-58. Body: Totally stock except it has been shielded in the body cavity--improves grounding and noise. Three-tone sunburst--awesome! Electronics: Pick guard and pick-ups are original. Volume and tone pots have been replaced. I'm not sure what brand the volume and tone pots are. Three-way switch has been replaced with a five-way switch so not original. I'm not sure what the brand of the five-way switch is. Tremolo cover is original. Knobs and all other parts are original. Neck plate #30698. Will ship however buyer would like. Insurance is a must.
