The hand slide moves freely, with no resistance, which is remarkable considering its age. Inner slide has no wear and is in mint condition. Some lacquer is worn due to age on horn section (see photos). Everything is in great working condition. Absolutely no red rot. Very minor dents on neck piece and at top of tuning slide, no dents on the hand slide. I'm only selling this horn because I bought Andy Martin's trombone from him this year while I studied with him, and need to sell this horn to pay it off! Serial number at the top of hand slide reads "1414". Horn was made in the time when King did not put serial numbers on the horn section so there is no serial number on horn section, but counterweight reads "H.N. White Co. KING. Cleveland, Ohio". King 2-B Liberty engravings on bell look beautiful. Engravings read: "King 2-B Liberty King Musical Instruments USA". Comes with black case as seen in photos, case zipper sometimes sticks.
