The bell reads "Wilh. Monke, Koln". This instrument plays very well and comes with the orignal case and mouthpiece.  Condition:This trumpet is in excellent condition, having only some minor dings. I am not sure if it is laquered or in raw brass, but whatever the case, the finish is 100% (I think it is laquer, since it doesn't seem to oxidize like raw brass). Valves work well (excellent compression) and all slides move freely. There are no patches or any signs of major trauma. Intonation is excellent, however, this trumpet would benefit greatly with the addition of a tuning mechanism on the third slide for the lower notes (as with any Bb trumpet).I used a trumpet just like this on Brahms when I attended Juilliard. This horn would be perfect for playing orchestral stuff or if you are just looking for a good rotary.Please look at the pictures below carefully and feel free to ask any questions.
